Serbia's biggest sport-tourism event — run through the streets of Belgrade on a clear April morning.

The Belgrade Marathon takes place every April and gathers more than 30,000 participants from over fifty countries. The route winds through the most beautiful parts of the city — Knez Mihailova, Slavija, the Ada Bridge, New Belgrade, and a finish at Republic Square.

The programme includes the full marathon distance (42.195 km), a half marathon, a relay, and the 5 km Fun Run open to absolutely everyone — families, children and recreational walkers. A Children's Race for the youngest is held the day before the start.

Marathon day is a city celebration — traffic is rerouted, whole streets are reserved for runners, and crowds gather at every major intersection. Finisher medals, a finish-line festival and a concert at Republic Square await everyone who crosses the line.
