About this event
One of Europe's biggest music festivals, set inside the legendary Petrovaradin Fortress above the Danube.
EXIT was born in 2000 as a student movement for democracy and today is one of the most awarded music festivals in Europe. More than twenty stages spread across the tunnels, ramparts and cannon platforms of Petrovaradin Fortress overlooking the Danube — a venue that alone is worth the trip.
The lineup covers every major genre of contemporary music: electronic on the legendary Dance Arena, alongside rock and indie scenes, hip-hop, reggae and metal. Each of the four nights begins at dusk and ends as the sun rises over the river.
During EXIT, Novi Sad becomes a city that does not sleep — bars, river-rafts and streets stay open until morning. The festival has been crowned Best European Festival multiple times and carries the title 'Festival of the Decade'.
