Salaš 137 is a restored traditional Vojvodinian farmstead from the early 20th century, set on the flat Čenej plain. Your stay is in a separate house within the salaš — three nicely furnished rooms with wooden floors and original-period furniture.
Two bathrooms, living area with a fireplace, a small kitchenette. Breakfast is included, served in the main building. The salaš has stables (horse riding on request), a barn, a restaurant, and a large lawn for children and dogs. Wi-Fi and parking provided.

The salaš's main attraction is horse riding — from gentle introductions for beginners to longer rides across the Čenej fields (book ahead). There's also a small petting zoo, perfect for kids.
Novi Sad with Petrovaradin Fortress is 20 minutes by car. Sremski Karlovci with its baroque cathedral, Kovačević winery, and bermet wine is 30 min. The Fruška Gora monasteries (Krušedol, Hopovo, Novo Hopovo, Velika Remeta) sit along the mountain's slopes, 30-45 min away. Summer days on the Tisa river (Bečej, Kanjiža) are an hour north.

Restoran Salaš 137 is why people from Novi Sad come here for the weekend. Breakfast — a Vojvodina platter with sausage, čvarci, bacon, cheese, eggs, and warm milk. Lunch — fish paprikaš with pasta (a Vojvodinian classic), sarma with sauerkraut, gibanica, and dunjevača quince brandy to finish.
Wines and rakijas from Sremski Karlovci, Irig, and the Banat on a carefully chosen list. Try bermet (a local spiced wine aperitif) and traminer from Mačkov Podrum. The salaš bakes its own bread every morning in a wood oven. All meats and dairy come from neighbouring farms.

Salaš je kao da si zakoračio u 19. vek. Soba je topla i lepo opremljena, a hrana u restoranu salaša je vrhunska — naročito riblji paprikaš i gibanica. Jahanje konja je obavezno.
