Drina rafting Tara
About this tour
Five hours of rafting through Europe's deepest gorge — the Drina from Brstanovica to Bajina Bašta.
The Drina between Tara and Zlatibor flows through the deepest gorge in Europe outside Norway — its walls rise more than 1,300 metres above the river. Our rafting route uses the most beautiful section of the lower Drina, with medium-grade rapids that are safe for beginners yet exciting enough for experienced rafters.
We set off from Brstanovica at 10:00 after a short safety briefing and equipment fitting. The route is 18 km long and takes about four hours, with a riverside lunch break included in the price (grilled fish from the local catch).
Equipment (raft, paddles, life vest, neoprene suit) and insurance are included. Bring swimwear, a towel, water-friendly sandals and sunscreen. The tour is cancelled only in case of extreme weather (full refund).
